Brand identity refresh for Maidenhead nutritionist Apples to Zinc

Apples to Zinc Nutritionist Janet Padfield wanted a new identity that could be applied easily to her new online nutrition programmes. Her old logo was aimed at families with small children and the business had started to move in to a different direction. Janet wanted her personality to shine through in her business, she wanted to come across as approachable yet knowledgable in her field. She also wanted to stand out from the other nutritionists in the local area. Through research in the market and appropriate tone of voice, JWJ came up with a bold and bright colour palette reflective of healthy, highly nutritious food.

The main identity uses a simple iconic apple shape with the text sitting within it. The brand really comes alive with the use of the bold repeated pattern that uses simple icon illustrations of fruit and vegetables, items that are not only nutritious but also contain zinc, a link back to the business name.
